Wisdom
The capacity to make informed and appropriate choices at a given time and in a given situation
Staff and colleagues are recognised by their capacity to demonstrate wisdom when making decisions and taking action. They will refer to contemporary thinking and consider the situation including the conditions when making decisions.
Justice
Defined as fairness
Staff and colleagues will demonstrate fairness in their dealings with others.
Courage
Described as belief and confidence in self
Staff and colleagues will demonstrate the ability to confront fear, uncertainty and intimidation at all times and in all dealings.
Temperance
Sometimes referred to as moderation
Staff and colleagues will demonstrate self-control, discretion and moderation in their dealings with others effectively avoiding over-reacting, excessive behaviour and volatility.
